FOLKLORAMA 2022! The Romanian Pavilion is welcoming you! July 31 - August 6, 2022

We are happy to celebrate our rich traditions and culture with you again! Our own Balada dance group will present to the public a wonderful show. Delicious Romanian food, prepared on site by our great chef, and imported wine and beer will be available. We will have a variety of imported goods in our souvenir stands to offer our guests, and our cultural display will showcase various themes, so our visitors will get a better understanding of who we are. We will welcome you with open arms and big smile. Bine ati Venit!

Grand Prize Winner! 

Naina Jinga became the GRAND PRIZE winner at the USA SINGER/SONGWRITER AND COMPOSER/PERFORMER International Music Competition held in November 2021 by IYMC. 

The competition drew delightful entries from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States.

 

Naina's piano-ballads on Women of Substance Radio & Podcast 

"O Little Town Of Bethlehem"  (arrangement for piano) and "You And I At Christmastime" (original piano music) by Naina Jinga will be featured on the #1 New & Noteworthy and Award Winning Women of Substance Music Podcast's popular Holiday Music Series  between November 26, 2021 and December 31, 2021.

Gold Award Winner at the Lit Talent Awards (2021) - in the Best Music Composer category for the piano-ballade "Tango Interrupted" and the Gold Award at the same competition in the Best Instrumental Performance Video for the piano-ballade "Amalfi ... To Italy with Love".

LIT Talent Awards competition recognizes, celebrates, and honors music, film, dance, video, and talent excellence in the entertainment industry, in the U.S. and internationally.

Third Place Winner at the Red Maple Music Competition (2021) - Toronto, Canada, for the piano-ballade, "Dream..." 

The piano-ballade "Dream..." by Naina Jinga was awarded the Third Place / Highly competitive level, at the Red Maple International Music Competition -2021, organized in Toronto, Canada. The members of the jury were including names such as: Prof. Jekaterina Rostovtseva, piano - Estonia, Prof. Valentina Yablonskaya, piano - Russia, Sherry Kim, piano - USA, Anahit Sargsyan, violin - Armenia, Casey Granofsky, flute - Canada, Luisa Mintsaeva, harp - Russia and Marina Burenkova, voice - Russia.

 

Gold Award at the Grand Maestro International Music Competition (2021) for "Lullaby for Tomorrow" - preliminary round - and "Tango Interrupted"-final round.  

Naina Jinga's piano ballads, "Lullaby for Tomorrow" (preliminary round) and "Tango Interrupted" (final round) were awarded the Gold Award certificate and medal in the Professional Category at the Grand Maestro International Music Competition - 2021.

Grand Maestro International Music Competition is an online competition organized by the officially registered professional music organization Concours de Musique et des Beaux Arts Canada, which aims to nurture and challenge the musical abilities of young musicians and performing artists.

The Concours de Musique et des Beaux Arts Canada, founded in 2006, comprises a panel of international concert artists, university professors from renowned musical institutions, experienced pedagogues and examiners from various examinations boards worldwide (e.g. Royal Conservatory of Music, Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music,  Trinity College of Music, GMIME), with the mission of elevating the standard of musical performance worldwide. 

The 2021 Inaugural Edition Grand Jury Panel Members were: Professor Nancy Loo, concert pianist - Hong Kong, Professor Warren Cohen, music director, pianist and composer - United States, Professor Amélie Fradette, cellist - Canada / USA, Professor Avguste Antonov, concert pianist - France and ​Professor Victor Khotulev - Russia.

Global International Music Competition is an online competition organized by the officially registered professional music organization Concours de Musique et des Beaux Arts Canada, which aims to nurture and challenge the musical abilities of young musicians and performing artists.
